Story

Cairo's Jewels BellyDance Troupe

 

...was established in 2008 when a group of dancers met weekly to rehearse dance material learned in classes and to prepare for upcoming performances and fundraisers. Since then dancers have come and gone,  but the troupe has continued to perform welcoming new students and dancers to share  and to connect. Nadimah/Nicole has expanded venues to include classes,(indoors and outdoor) workshops, and entertainment at both private family friendly functions and fundraising events.

Lead Choreographer of Cairo's Jewels BellyDance
She is a second generation belly dance artist who has been touching the lives of people with the grace and joy of belly dance since 2002. Falling in love with belly dance in childhood when her mother shimmied and sparkled to the wonderful middle eastern beats of the classics. Nicole 's passion was rekindled and fully energized as she immersed herself in learning all that is belly dance so that she too can share the passion of the dance and the many benefits it provides.

Little Jewels Dance
​
Inspired by the joy expressed when children dance and move Nicole created Little Jewels Dance class for children to explore movement inspired within them to a variety of wonderful music. Nicole teaches an appreciation for the music that brings out the joy in our bodies as we move and have fun. Creative movements are inspired by belly dance movement and props associated within this beautiful dance. in 2020 an outdoor class was introduced. what an amazing experience, dancing on nature's stage!
